Mindfulness, Meditation and Yoga Weekend

As a senior Quest for Life facilitator, Tamika is delighted to announce that she will be offering a weekend Mindfulness, Meditation and Yoga retreat, to be held at the Quest for Life Centre in the Southern Highlands at Bundanoon.
What will I Gain from this Retreat
You will experience:
· Morning and afternoon yoga sessions with Bernadette Arena
· Daily meditation instructions and practices
· Dharma talks on the 4 foundations of mindfulness
· Experiential exercises with the use of a mandala on mindfulness of the body, mind and emotions
· Mindful eating and walking practices
· Healthy and delicious vegetarian food
· Time to rejuvenate, relax and replenish your mind, body and soul
· Serenity and connection with nature on the 9 beautiful acres at the Quest for Life Centre
The weekend will commence at 3pm on Friday 21st October 2022 and will end at 1pm on Sunday 23rd October 2022. Feel free to arrive on Friday any time from 2pm so you can settle into your room.
Bundanoon is a 2 hour drive south from Sydney or you can catch a train from Central to Bundanoon station. Quest for Life is a short walk from the station.
About the Event
This retreat provides you with the perfect opportunity to escape, de-stress, replenish and expand your meditation practice over a full weekend of relaxation, allowing you to connect more with yourself and with nature.
The Quest for Life Centre is set on 9 serene acres, so there will be time for you to explore the grounds, take part in walking meditations or even meander through the labyrinth.
Meet our Team
At this retreat we are excited that another senior Quest for Life facilitator and Yoga instructor, Bernadette Arena, will be part of the presenting team. Bernadette has a wealth of experience in Yoga practices, meditation and breathwork and will be offering yoga classes in the mornings and afternoons. Each evening, she will also complete the day with a Yoga Nidra meditation.

Michelle Macris is an experienced holistic Massage therapist and will be offering her services at our upcoming retreat.
With over 3 decades of experience, guests will leave her company feeling relaxed and rejuvinated.

Blazena has always been drawn to activities and pass times that explore the
body/mind and awareness associated with that. The exciting world of
neuroplasticity and discoveries within that field are of particular interest to her.
The study of yogic philosophy was her entry point into that world. She says that
yoga speaks to mind, body, breathe, awareness and intricacies these
connections give light too.
Blazena achieved her yoga teacher qualification in 2007 from Nature Care
College. It was a year of comprehensive full-time study and from which she
emerged seeking to learn more.
Her professional life has allowed her to be involved in teaching yoga in the corporate environment and weaving yogic philosophy into leadership training/facilitation programs. She taught yoga privately one on one and in small groups. She has also been involved in mindfulness based stress reduction programs, initially as a participant and then as part of the team, presenting the physiology of stress as a yoga teacher as well as assisting on retreats /days of silence, leading the yoga component.
At present Blazena works for creative intension, providing input on programs on leadership and change management programs. As well as working at The Quest for Life Foundation as a senior support person.
Recently Blazena completed a certification in advanced yoga training and she regularly attends workshops and actively engages in ongoing learning. Her next area of study is delving more deeply into the MBSR programs.
Blazena will join as at the Four Foundations of Mindfulness Retreat as an experienced support person.
